If you love the outdoors and immersing yourself in nature, our bike tours in NZ offer an experience worth exploring. We provide wilderness adventures in Southland’s Fiordland National Park, where you can experience the benefits of physical activity, fresh air, and bonding with family or friends.

Our NZ trail ride tours offer adventure where there’s something for everyone with our range of packages. Here’s what you can expect when you choose our services:
  • Day and multi-day tours. Depending on how much time you have to enjoy a getaway, you have the option of day tours such as Borland Road, Walter Peak Mavora Lakes, or Lake to Lake. Alternatively, your multi-day tours include the three- or six-day Mountain Explorer.
  • Ebike tours NZ. Although all our tours are suitable for easy to intermediate riding, you can upgrade to an ebike for a fee, where a motor assists you with the movement of the pedals, if you prefer to take it easy.
  • Luxury tours. Among our bike track tours in NZ is the four-day luxury tour that offers support transport, gourmet lunch, and a 5-star hotel with the option of upgrading to Fiordland lodge. The tour itself includes a visit to Walter Peak Homestead, situated at 1,800 metres above sea level, and Mavora Lakes, with stunning mountain-, lake-, forest-, and grassland views. The tour stops in Lumsden, surrounded by hills, and you’ll see the old Kingston Flyer, a vintage steam train in the South of Lake Wakatipu.
  • Custom tours. This option allows you to tailor your visit by adding to an existing itinerary to include overnight stays at Doubtful or Milford Sound.
  • Extras. You won’t have to worry about what to eat since you can choose to add a picnic lunch to your package. You can also add activities such as walks, pack rafting, cruising, or kayaking at Milford.
Besides the Otago rail trail tours, here are the other packages that we offer:
  • Three-day around the mountains cycle trail. This tour is for those who have limited time or want to challenge their endurance. A boat trip across Lake Wakatipu, and a stop at the Native Beech Forest, are included. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit the heritage railway precinct in Lumsden and Southland’s gold mining history.
  • Fiordland tours Te Anau. This is a five-hour trip where you can explore the birdlife park and have a picnic overlooking the Waiau river. You can also return from Manapouri to Te Anau by minivan.
  • Borland road. This tour takes up to seven hours. You can swim in Lake Manapouri to cool off from the summer heat and enjoy the mossy Fiordland Beech Forest, up to 1,000m in altitude.
  • Queenstown bike tours. This full-day excursion is suitable for easy to intermediate riders and includes a boat trip from Queenstown to Walter Peak, where you’ll spot the world-renowned merino sheep.
Besides looking forward to mountain and lake views and depending on your budget, we also organise accommodation for diverse tastes. You’re also spoilt for choice of where to eat depending on what you’re in the mood for. You’ll have the option of Southland Cheese rolls, Stewart Island blue cod, or famed Route 6 café burgers. Lumsden offers takeaways such as fish and chips or fine dining at Stock Pot and Barrel with a seasonal menu and top-shelf wine. Perhaps you need something sweet? Bakeries enroute offer scones, muffins, and doughnuts which you can pair with some delectable, locally made coffee.
We’re a locally owned and operated business established in 2016. We have serviced over 16,000 customers and have gained the experience to offer the ultimate mountain biking experience. Our passion extends to contributing to the local Te Anau community by providing internships to youths where they gain knowledge and skill from practical work in the bike workshop. They also have the option of volunteering for local projects and trail work. Don’t hesitate to contact us for any additional information – we can’t wait to meet you.
